Just playing around with Photoshop since I don't use it nearly as much as I should. This time instead of doing lines in Flash I just CG'd the pencil drawing itself.
I suggest picking up some non-photo blue pencils. They are absolutely awesome and are the sole reason I actually have clean pencil lines for once.
So what do you guys think? Worth pursuing this method?
Edit: Changed the lighting a bit. It feels much more natural now. Well, as natural as an anime character cel-shaded can be.
Dude... this could SO work as a print for Otafest.
As for a crit... Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the arm on the left-side of her is a bit funny (angle-wise, I mean). And... the pants should hug her body more.
Otherwise, everything else is looking nice.

Yeah, I was having trouble with the arm's perspective. I might try recolouring the pants since they make a lot more sense in my sketch than they do CGd. =O Thanks for pointing that out, though! I couldn't tell what I did wrong with them, though I knew there was something missing.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
